What's involved in the Planning Phase of the website design process?

This is where we go back with your information and strategize with our team. This is also when you send us ALL of your content. The faster that happens, the faster your project is complete.

The planning stage is another important one on the ladder, because what’s decided and mapped here sets the milestones and timeline for the entire web design project. This is also the stage that requires critical interaction and the accompanying attention to detail.

In this phase, we create the site map and make sure you have reviewed and approved them. As soon as the site map for the new site is finalized, we decide which technologies to use and then design wireframes. This phase includes:

  • Site mapping
  • Requirement analysis
  • Content planning
  • Content creation

If you have an existing site, we'll reuse content for the new site wherever it makes sense. For new content, we'll create you a personalized Google Drive folder where you can upload all images, links to videos, PDFS, and the wording you want on the site.
